Tall Reflections (Weekend Reflections # 316)

Philadelphia, PA

I wanted to take a photo when I saw this reflection in the street. I didn't have much time because a bus was about to stop right on top of it. I snatched my phone out of my pocket, clicked and then stepped back just in time.  Thankfully, I didn't get splashed. :-)

Happy Reflecting!

This is the place to see and share reflections. Click the rules tab above for more information.  A Reflection =  An image given back by a reflecting surface.  A PHOTOGRAPH of a REFLECTION or REFLECTIONS.

Crazy Good! A. I would have been in such a fluster I would have jiggled the iphone and gotten splashed. B. Love that you captured thsoe high buildings - that thing that gave you the impetus to take the shot in the first place. And...C. The leaf!! Just perfect!

You're quick on the draw, James. (And you got a great shot!)

There is beautiful, clear fall light in your reflection shot. We can look a long way down into that water, or is it up?

You have a much better phone than my friend's to get this reflection on so clearly:) Water has its risks:)

Il faut parfois être très rapide pour saisir une photo, c'est parfois périlleux. Joli rendu !
bon week-end

I love a puddle shot and admire your agility and timing. Good that you didn't get splashed ... though it would have been more dramatic if you had, Ha! Great shot, James ...

Quick reflexes James :) Amazing how much depth you can get in a shallow puddle.

I can see me dropping the phone into the water, then being run over by the bus- fast thinking, James!

Funny! We have exactly the same theme: buildings and leaves. But they are sooo different!
